The Bradley breaks ground in Wynwood with 175 apartments

Construction is now underway in Wynwood on The Bradley (formerly Wynwood 26), after a groundbreaking ceremony this morning.

The courtyard-style building will include 175 rental apartments on levels 2 through 5, including micro-units ranging in size from 400 to 900 square feet, averaging 700 square feet.

Arquitectonica is the architect, with Lenny Kravitz doing interior design.

To keep the building facade flat, Arquitectonica designed false balconies (or Juliet Balconies) on the upper levels.

On the ground floor, there is retail, and a cross-block paseo.

Parking is concealed on the mezzanine level. Zoning demanded 254 parking spaces, but the developers were able to obtain a 30% reduction to 179 spaces by paying into the Wynwood Parking Trust Fund.
